H.M. Serotta is an emerging fantasy and science fiction author whose works draw upon the folklore and mythology of her ancestors’ homes. Growing up bi-racial in the cookie-cutter suburbia of Sacramento, California, she’s long dreamed of worlds far different than her own. Helene will complete a bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University in December 2026. She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in criminal justice, which is the main source of influence for another work-in-progress novel. She is currently seeking representation for THE FINAL FALLEN, an adult alternative history fantasy novel about a young woman’s quest to find her father – and her own identity – in the treacherous underbelly of magical Japan.
